Looking for an easier way to grow cucumbers? Grow them on trellises or give them fencing to climb. We use whatever we have available to provide support for our cucumbers once they get tendrils. It makes picking so much easier. Plus they grow larger and healthier because they have space and less potential for rotting. This year, we pulled up our first crop early due to powdery mildew.
