The BFI has restored footage taken during Ernest Shackleton’s Imperial Trans-Antarctic expedition. Over a hundred years after it sank, Endurance has been found by the incredible Endurance22 team! Thanks to the brilliant people at History Hit we're able to show you the first footage from the discovery. Sir Ernest Shackleton’s ship which has not been seen since it was crushed by the ice and sank in the Weddell Sea in 1915. "This is by far the finest wooden shipwreck I have ever seen.
