We travelled to Mombasa from Nairobi using SGR and our experience wasnt so bad! SGR was so clean and organized. They have restaurants in the waiting area but we took our own snacks. We had booked the night train so we couldnt enjoy the views. We went with the Economy class which waa crowded as its super affordable! The only disadvantage we had as vegetarians was that there was no veg food sold in the train, it was just the normal drinks. We left Nairobi at 10PM and reached Mombasa Terminus at 3.
